I'm really starting to want some new ones. I've been wearing costas for 10-15 years. Who has some suggestions for other brands, styles.

I wore Costas for along time but switched to Oakley several years ago and have been happy with them. The Oakleys have been very durable and are very comfortable. I have a pair of Maui Jim's but I do not wear them nearly as much as the Oakley's.

haleyville al,
I used to wear Oakley then I got Costa. I like both the Oakley was more comfortable due to weight but I pick Costa over Oakley.

I have been wearing Costas as long as you. But switched to Wiley X this go around. I like them so far, and appreciate that they are safety glasses too.

Kaenon. The glass is comparable to Maui Jims but about half the weight. I also like the fact that they have various tints in several different lenses. No one lens is ideal for all conditions. I'm thinking about getting a second pair. I have the moderate tinted amber lens and it's great for all but the sunniest of days.

After I lost the 2nd pair of Oakley I had bought I now buy the cheap ones from where ever I`m at when I need a new pair. Lot easier to stomach $10-15 since I either can`t not lose them or break them

Maui Jim if you don't care how much you spend. Kaenon makes really good glasses as does the higher end Smiths. I've had 3 pair of Oakleys and I didn't care for any of them other than how light they were.

It was time for me to replace my sunglasses a few weeks ago. I've always worn Oakley's, but his time I tried some Costas. I just didn't like the way any of them felt. I wound up getting a pair of polarized Oakley Wiretaps.

I wore out a pair of Costas, before Costas became cool. I then wore out another pair. I decided not to buy them again for 2 reasons. First, I didn't want to wear the same sunglasses that 90% of the high school boys wore, and 2nd, they cost too much.

I did a lot of reading and settled on Typhoons. I'd say the lenses are comparable to Costas non 580 lenses. That's good enough for me and they cost about 1/4 to 1/3 what Costas cost when I bought them.

If you aren't buying glasses to get a certain name on them, they are sure worth a look.

Ono's. You're getting pretty old and will have to have them soon.

In the fishing section of Wal Mart they have the $4.75 rack. They work fine and if I lose one it doesn't matter.

I've been wearing polarized Pugz for a few years and some sho-nuff aviator pewter rimmed knock-offs from Loves travel center.

Cheap stamped plastic-lens sunglasses suck and are bad for your eyes.
