with turkey season drawing to a close soon, I've started getting that itch to get the bow back down and start shooting. Really looking forward to this deer season. I've dropped out of our Greensboro hunting club (since I've only seen 1 shooter buck in about 5 yrs and only killed 1 deer last year) and will, instead, hunt with a buddy of mine. I may not pick up a rifle all year long, I may just stick with my bow all year.
There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:
1. All Politicians Are Liars
2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement
3. Taxation Is Theft

Tuscaloosa bha is having a shoot on april 25-26. It would be a good chance to scratch that itch, Gomer. Turkeys get priority until May. I plan to spend a lot of time at the Faucett Center Archery Park though. Just up the road from my house

What are the specifics for shooting out there? Do they have certain hours? I believe I was told it is free to shoot. It is free, totally open to the public. It's open when the PARA location is open (can check hours online or simply call 'em). It's a very nice range, with a walk-thru 3D park w/about 8 targets, too. BGD

Take up shooting 3d and it makes it seem like season never ends. Its like you are hunting somewhere new every weekend.

Man I'm fired up about bow season this year for the first time in a long time. I got a hunting spot back this time that I had 12 years ago (it's private land inside Freedom Hills Mgt Area) and I've got a 5 1/2 day Illinois bowhunt in November. I'm stoked. Robinhedd
