My buddy arKic turned me onto hunting arrowheads and has showed me the ropes. I went out by myself yesterday in Henry Co and found all this in a food plot about 50yd x 100yds big. Good way to stay in the woods during the offseason and learn the land better.

Good job man, it sure is something to think that those were the only way they had to kill and clean what they ate. It always amazes me that I'm holding something that several hundred years before someone else made and used to hunt.

That's cool! I used to have a buddy that would use some kind of sump pump on the flint river in Georgia. He'd suck up gravel off the bottom, sort through it, and find heads. He used to make a good bit of change doing that on the weekends.

That's what I miss most about moving here from Texas. I lost access to all my arrowhead hunting spots.

Love to do it. Spent a couple of years deer hunting a clearcut. (with my rifle over my shoulder, head down, walking in areas that looked promising.) For some reason, I didn't see many deer.

Not legal for quite a few years. It is a go directly to jail kinda thing these days in both Florida or Georgia.Both states got ticked off about the amount of money people were making diving and pumping and shut it down.
