I'm a huge Tebow fan. They should use him like Florida did his freshman year. He'd come in on 3rd down and goal line situations and was unstoppable

I agree 100%. I've never seen him take a play off at any stage of his career.
I liked him on The SEC game day broadcast and hate he wont be there any longer. I thought he, Finebaum and Spears made a good trio with Tessitore.

In my opinion, that's where he would be best served as well.

He's the 5th QB and may not make it to the opening of training camp, just OTA's for now. Don't be surprised if he's back on the set of Game Day this fall.

I would love to see Tim prove the doubters wrong though.

They may keep him around for special package plays. Chip Kelly likes a lot of gimmicky stuff.

I admire Tebow's desire to play, but realistically I don't think he's got a chance in Hades of seeing the field during game time. Maybe so, and I'd be glad to see it happen, but come on man.

53 man roster don't leave a lot of room for this. Plus, tebow has said over and over again...he's a qb and that's what he's gonna play (if he plays). Now, he's said he is a "re-born" qb. We'll see, i guess.

I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this if he makes the team. To see him come in a few times a game in different situations.

Bottom line is contrary to what the media has made him out to be, he is one of the most accurate passers in SEC history. I believe he also has one of the highest QB ratings as well(haven't looked it up to verify). He faced many tough defenses in the SEC, not NFL caliber I fully understand, but enough to prove he can thrown the ball. His throws were not dink and dump at UF either, a large percentage were intermediat to down field throws. The problem began when they totally tried to revamp everything he had done his whole life when it comes to throwning the ball. After that he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from short to intermediate routes, but he could still hit the deep ball pretty good. However, in the midst of being in the most predictable offense in the NFL at the time he was in Denver he still did something the previous QB couldn't do, win games and get them in the playoffs. Ironically he did it throwing the ball in the 4th quarter of most of those game when they would finally turn him lose.

Don't know if he can regain his accuracy after all of the throwing motion changes, but one thing I would never do with Tebow is count him out. He is one of the most driven and determine athelete I've ever seen on the football field. Not to mention he's a high character guy. Yes I'm a Gator fan, but I would pull for Tebow no matter what team he would have played for. I wish there were more like him instead of all of these thugs we keep reading about everyday in the news...

I think every team in the NFL should hire him to train with their team for a month. It would be a great lesson in humility and may un thug a few great players that would be other wise lost to drugs, violence etc.

The guy who 'fixed' Tim Tebow says the QB spent 18 months relearning how to play — and he's ready to make a comeback

Even though Tim Tebow left Philadelphia without a contract offer from the Eagles after a workout on Monday, momentum seems to be building for a Tebow comeback attempt.

The 27-year-old quarterback hasn't played in the NFL since 2013, when the New England Patriots cut him before the regular season.

In the 18 months since, Tebow went on to work for ESPN as a college football commentator. But behind the scenes he has been working with Tom House, a California-based quarterback guru who has worked with Tom Brady.

House told Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman that he believed he "fixed" Tebow's throwing motion.

In an interview with Mike Tanier of Bleacher Report, House went into more detail about what exactly he meant.

House told Tanier he had been working with Tebow for two and a half hours three times a week since the Patriots cut Tebow in 2013. During that time Tebow has relearned how to throw a football with the proper mechanics.

He said Tebow's new mechanics were "hard-wired" after 10,000 reps:

I honestly believe that everybody who was trying to help Tim, everybody who thought they "fixed" him, they probably did temporarily fix him. But Tim didn't have enough repetition for it to become autonomic. When he got into competition, with the stresses and anxieties that come with the competitive situation, he fell back to his old habits.

The difference now is that he has put in the reps. There have been 10,000-plus reps. If he gets a chance to play again and gets back to competition, it's hard-wired now. He doesn't have to think about it.

"I can't see any reason why someone would not at least give him another chance," he said.

House's coworker Adam Dedeaux, who has been working with Tebow as well, was even more effusive in his praise in an interview with Ross Jones of Fox Sports. He said Tebow was "remarkably better" now.

"From the moment we started working with him until now, his ability to get the ball out quickly has dramatically improved," he told Fox. "His ability to spin the ball and to be accurate is better. He also understands when he misfires — he can be able to answer the question why and make the adjustment."

It's the job of House and Dedeaux to hype up their client, so these quotes should be taken with a grain of salt to some extent.

The larger point is that Tebow wants back in the NFL as a quarterback.
