Pine Ridge Hunting Camp based in Troy Al has a few new openings . We are adding even more land this year to our existing 3500 current acres. We currently have properties in Montgomery , Pike, Coffee, and Crenshaw counties. We are a well managed club that has been in existence since 1993. Our camp is located about a mile south of Wal Mart in Troy Al on county Rd 5516. Food , fuel, sporting stores, or whatever you may need is right here close by for your convenience. Across the Rd from our Camp house you will find that Walnut Creek Rv Park is here with 428 Rv sites available. Our park has water, power, sewer,and cable tv . A 20 acre fishing lake is also available here if interested . Pine Ridge is a well managed club with a laid back family atmosphere. We certainly are family friendly . We consider joining our club as an investment not just a membership. We say that because we are a club that will be here for a lot of decades to come. Join Pine Ridge for yourself and your kids. Here at Pine Ridge we harvest mature bucks only. We require the buck to be a mountable buck to be harvested. We go by body size and structure as well as antler growth and mass. We want you to harvest an older buck here. We also would prefer that you harvest mature does as well. We require our members to try and harvest older turkey's during turkey season also. Here at Pine Ridge we do have a supplemental feed program. We will also plant for our deer in spring summer and fall this year. We have around 90 food plots and will be adding more as we add more properties this year. We have app 150 shooting houses or stands that you may choose from on a first come first serve basis. You will find maps to direct you to these on our tag board at the camp house. We require members to use our tag in tag out system as well as a sign in sign out sheet. This is for safety and also let's members know how much pressure has been on a particular spot weekly. All members must be accountable for taging themselves in and out at the camp house. Pine Ridge has members from various states . We have a lot of out of town members . Pressure here is minimum for we have so many areas , plots , and bottoms to choose from. Membership numbers depends on the total acres we have this up coming year. Our goal is to keep pressure at a minimum. This past year we harvested 22 mountable bucks at Pine Ridge. For the past four seasons we have harvested bucks that exceeded the 150 inch range. One was over 160. In the very near future we hope to break those margins as well. We do harvest bucks in the 120 to 140 range as well. We are also a little more generous for the kids who have never taken a buck. I believe all the kids in our group harvested a buck last year. However after they take their one then the expectations go up for them as well. At our club we want the experience to stay fun . Every buck we take may be a trophy to one individual but may not be to another. Pine Ridge hunting Camp has a wide range of terrain here. We are app 40 percent hardwood and have various stages of pine plantation. We are in the black belt area and there is a good road system on all properties. Some properties you could drive a Cadillac on and one property may require an atv certain parts of the year. We have 15 gets keyed alike on our properties. Our gates are identified with a yellow sign. There are many great things about Pine Ridge Hunting Camp. We are just like any other club. We have many pros and a few cons.
