bug spray does the same thing but its a short term solution.
They need to be wet sanded and compound then polish added for a lasting effect. Think of the plastic they use on headlights as paint. You are essentially creating very fine scratches in it till you get down to smooth plastic then polishing them out and sealing.
The kits at hardware stores and auto parts stores work but all you really need to do it is some 400grit and some 1200-2000 grit and water. Then polish with a decent car wax.
On the Eighth day God created flounder.

Piss on all that. Ebay. Head lights are cheap Joe, Even for our old trucks they are $75 and up. While its true if I had all your money Id use mine to start a fire I DO have some sand paper and 10 minutes to do mine once a year.

You can use gritty toothpaste as well for 3 months or a little more... Use it like a wax and use some elbow grease... Then buff off... Good Luck

I'm just as broke as everybody else ASSHAT! My wife tried the cleaner/repair kit on her tahoe a few months ago. She all happy and then I told her give it 3 weeks. They look like doodoo again.
