X2 I'd love to see footage of the tow company woman coming over the counter. I bet that little lady's eyes would about pop out of her head.

Not gonna lie, I've been a little hostile when trying to get my car out of the impound as well. I'm pretty sure I even used her line about are you happy with your job.

Yep, what an A#1 B-I-T-C-H!!! I would fire her, not like she's some major personality on ESPN why would you want that kind of negativity hanging around? She can go get a job at a local news channel in Cleveland.

Here's the trick to not getting your car towed: Tow companies have a lot of liability when it comes to removing your car. Don't make the possible money to be made worth dealing with your vehicle. Park as close as you can to another car or light pole, put your parking brake on, and cut your wheels to where if they were to move it, your vehicle would hit something else in the process of moving it. They'll skip you 8/10 times and go to an easier car to tow.

couple of thoughts....

1) I find it suspicious that the only video that has been shown is edited and doesn't show the beginning of the argument....nobody knows what the towing company employee said first (not saying that necessarily makes it OK)

2) That same towing company is notorious for pulling this scam where they tow people who were legally parked, then basically hold your car ransom. It's becoming a problem in a lot of major cities and this particular company has been accused of it more than once.

3) I've had my truck towed before by a dooshbag security guard and I remember how hot I got about it. And I was technically in the wrong. They had signs posted, but they posted them so that you could NOT see them from the parking area. He also watched me park there and instead of telling me I couldn't, he let me park then towed me. When I came out, he acted like an azzhole and we got into an argument. he was an off-duty (but still in uniform) Tuscaloosa Sherriff Deputy and I would've gone to jail if a buddy hadn't literally dragged me away by my shirt collar.

my point is, she's probably a sorry human being, but the towing company and their employees are FAR from innocent in this whole thing.

Here is another way of looking at it... How would you fine folks like to get suspended from your jobs for something that has absolutely nothing to do with job performance, or better yet, get fired for something that you post on ALDEER.
I do not condone what she did. Clearly she was a bitch to the lady behind the counter. But, why should she loose her job, or even get a week long suspension for something that she "said"?
Just a thought.

You got that right!

When my ex and I divorced and I got back into the dating pool I learned these two truths :
1) Where I live there are more single women in my age group than you can shake a stick at
2) 99.45% of those single women are single for a good freakin reason

This woman would fit into that 99.45% (notice 'woman' not lady)

She does have freedom of speech but I'd be willing to bet there is a clause in her contract about casting a negative image on ESPN. Most big companies have them for people in the spotlight. She may have freedom of speech but reprocussions comes with that. Just like how the Dixie Chicks killed their careers with their freedoms. Also, for those that get mad at the tow companies, most of the time it isn't the tow companies fault. It's who called them.
