I've heard or read that toothpaste works too
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I've done it with Off. Works moderately well. Supposedly the toothpaste works as well, maybe a little better.

I've seen that once before too. Makes you feel good about spraying it on your skin doesn't it? When my kids were babies I had a bottle of some sort of name brand sunscreen on my dash. It got hot in the sun and the pressure forced some of it out on my dash. It took the paint off of it.....

It has to be the "gritty" type toothpaste. The grit works like really fine sandpaper and cuts the oxidation that causes the haze. Once the oxidation is cut and removed, the headlight must be resealed to slow the oxidation process.

The bug spray works by just filling in the minute cracks (oxidation). After a few rains or car washes, it will rinse away and you'll have to repeat the process again. Some of the bug sprays will also cause the plastic headlights to deteriorate and cause the plastic to become sticky.

Only one i know will work is the 3m kit for a drill. But you have to becareful. I wet sanded my moms then went over them with rubbing compound then sealed them. About 4 hrs worth. It lasted about 2 weeks.

About twenty years ago while camping I ruined a small tv when over spray from some off got on the screen. When the OP posted this it was the first thing I thought of.

I worked like heck on mine with toothpaste and a drill buff. Really didn't use abrasive enough toothpaste. The part that I cleared came back a couple of months later.
