YEKRUT OP Turkey Nut Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 32,451 North Alabama	I'm looking to add another place closer to home than I am right now so I can make a few weekend trips a year and take the boy with me next season. My current place is 4 hours away and taking him and having to spend 8 hours on the road in a weekend isn't my idea of fun. I need 2 things, a good population or turkeys, and a place to stay nearby. The place to stay is optional if the turkey hunting is good. I know most places don't offer turkey only, but if the turkey hunting is good I will purchase a full membership just to turkey hunt. If any of you know of anything I'd appreciate a heads up. I will have a 5 year old itching to get his first bird next year and I plan to make it all about him while spending most weekends with him in the woods when he wants to go.
