will the 2.4 motor fit into it? It should have had a 22re stock, which is a 2.4. The 4 cylinder went to a 2.7 when the Tacomas were introduced. Jeremy

Jeremy 10-4 Could be a 22r ( carb) or 22re (electronic fuel injected), both 2.4. Fuel injection was an option for a few years. The 4X4s with auto trannys were all EFI far as I know.
