Do you know the species of wood used to make the slats?

Oak from what I see. I haven't heard them making pallets out of anything else. Was going to use them for flooring but the mill was gonna charge to much to tounge and groove them all.

Do they come with any type of warranty?

They look pretty cool when you make hardwood floors out of them. I just spent a bunch of time pulling them all apart and thought maybe someone would buy them.

You're not the only one

Hardwood pallets are a dime a dozen around here ,you can take a sawzall w/a metal blade and cut down the inside boards. Doing it that way you can have enough boards to fill that trailer up in a couple of hours. Then you probably could sell it since it would be enough for a project .
I didn't mean to sound like a jerk Whack-n-stack -look up a pallet pry on youtube -then dismantle a load of them stacked neat somebody will buy them .
Advertise on craigslist -use a lot of catchy words and some artsyfartsy type will buy them. But you'll have a hardtime selling pallet boards to us rednecks.

I will say this, one of the prettiest coffee tables I've ever seen was made from pallet boards. They were maple boards. The guy planed them down to about 1/4" thick.

I have seen pallets made from about every kind of wood that grows here.

I haven't seen it myself but have heard that some are imported from other countries and could be infested with insects not native here that could hatch out after the pallets are used.

They look great on interior walls. I'm wanting to build an addition on to my house and that's what I plan to use for the walls.

Lots of crafting women buying them. Was a higher demand until they realized what all has been transported, sprayed, and spilled on them. They need a good cleaning.
