Empty traps today. We set 2 more snares for otter so I've got 24 sets in this lake now. Tough job with over 100 acres of water and only half of it accessible with my boat.

Nice coyote.

Just had one stupid grinner in a coyote flat set this morning. I did pick up one of the largest scat specimens I have seen from another property and added to a urine post set.

Nothing on my bounty line this morning. I think I've thinned them out somewhat in this lake for now. Gonna pull everything out Friday.

I did catch a possum in a live trap out by my skinning shed.

2 coons on one property and a buzzard at another. Buzzard was in the remake where I caught the possum yesterday. No bait, just some lure inside a hog skull at a flat set. At least I know my homemade catch pole works.

Starting to rethink using that particular lure...

Set my first traps ever last week. 2 coyotes, 2 coons, and 1 possum so far. I can't believe I haven't done this before, almost as much fun as turkey hunting, almost!

K those buzzards are by far the nastiest animal on the planet. Glad you got to try out your catch pole but I bet it stinks now. Lol!

Almost Jason!... Almost! Turkey season is the only time I refuse to trap.
