I remember when I was about his age Coon Pecker toothpicks were common ,and could be put on a string and worn around your neck.
Any of you ever made one , your recomendations would be helpful.

How would he explain something like that?

Girlfriend, "What's that in your hand?"

Grandson, "A racoon's pecker."

Girlfriend, "What do you do with it?"

Grandson, "I pick my teeth with it."

Girlfriend, "You put it in your mouth!?!?!?!"

Grandson, "Of course, let me show you how it works."

Girlfriend

It is going to be a "Prank " gift. Me and my little buddy exchange prank gifts at Christmas and Birthdays.I used to tease him when he was about 5 years old that " I bet you wear pink Panties, well one year he gave me a pair of pink Panties wraped up in a apple in a box that a Lews speed came in. He got me good.
This past Christmas , he gave me a nicely wraped present ,
and said Don't Shake it , When I opened it is was a perfect dried out Dog turd. This coon pecker toothpick is just a continuation of our little tradition.
Thanks , for the suggestions , I am working on it now with a sander.
