A few friends were in it years ago. They ran dogs and stalk hunted the property killed a lot of deer. It's been 10 or so years since they were in it though.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I know they've killed a lot of deer, and some good ones over the years. All I know.

Our club borders a part of theirs on one piece of property. Not sure how they did but it was the worst year I've ever had, only saw 18 deer in 34 days of hunting and 13 of those were the first 4 days of how season. Our club is 2100+ acres with 18 members and we only killed 16 deer with no good bucks. Last year we had a few good bucks killed. I'm giving it one more year and if it's not better I'm probably going somewhere else.

That don't sound good. Are they east or west from your place. So you seen 13 deer the first 4 days you hunted. And then Only 5 the other 30 days. Somebody must have come in and stole them between bow season and gun season.

I'm in the same club that borders them and I'm not sure how they did either. I didn't keep count of how many deer I saw but hunted a lot and saw very few deer. There are deer there and plenty of tracks. When we are sitting at our club and grilling dinner at night we ALWAYS here rifle shots, some close and some off in the distance, and all during the night. I personally think it has affected the deer in that area. That being said I also think there are better areas in Fayette county to hunt as well.

Our club has property on county rd 26. The power line that crosses 26 is our club but Davis Creek has some of that power line but they access it different. Property line is on power line at one of our fields but they also border is off Skelton are also. Sulli and I are in the same club.

Old Liberty. Like I said there's better places in Fayette county and I know there are deer where we are and some nice deer in the area. I'm hoping it was just a bad year and this upcoming season will be better. Don't think it'll hurt to look at the place and make a decision based on what you see. I don't know how well they did this past season.

I don't really know how they did either. When I find out I will let you know. Have you hunted in other parts of Fayette co. What parts of Fayette co would you consider better.

Anywhere around the sipsey river is good. Was in a club years ago that had property that bordered the sipsey and we killed real nice deer but the club split up and lost a bunch of that property.

Almost impossible to find a club on the river cause most of it is private land.

I've been a member of Davis Creek for a few years. It's a good club. Most of the land is 6 point or better and the rest is state game laws. I believe it's around 4,000 acres but it's split up all over the place. There are some really good folks down there. Last year was a down year but there were some good bucks killed.

That club I was in leased it from private land owners and when the club split up one of the members knew those landowners and gave him the hunting rites. Don't know if he still has it or not.
