Anybody ever bought any cattle off his farm? We buy a few very year from him, man he has some fine, fine cows. My boss has probably bought 125+ head form him in the last 5 years or so, and these thing still spitting out top notch calves. Got some over 10 years old and they still hold their own. That man has some fine blood line. We call them the stock market cattle, cause they keep on giving, some of the best red cows in Alabama IMO..

Which one? They own 3 or 4 mega farms.

I've only spoken at length with the elder Mr. Jones once, came off as a first class gentleman to me.

Jones valley is where we have always picked up at. Bust most time they send a couple trailers to us, loaded down.

Fo sho. During deer season when Douglas played whatever the name of that school is on the edge of the farm, I watched a pretty good rack buck walk across the huge pasture behind the stadium. He stayed about 400 yards behind the stands, just in the edge of where the lights lit the field. I figure seeing a rack from 400 yards in dim light meant he was a pretty good one.

Right, I didn't think of them, I don't think Grissom has their own stadium.

No, but did buy some fighting roosters from Roy Jones JR. in the mid to late '80s when I lived in Pensacola before he started boxing professionally.

Not when you put a black bull on them and they spit out a 650 weight Calf in 225 days. smile

We run a lot of commercial cows. But all them calves are black when they hit the ground. Have a lot of bramveigh back ground also. Along with some gelbviegh also. But them calves gonna be black.

It cost more to attend Randolph high school that it does for major colledges in AL.
