Well at least old for me (I'm 36). TCs thread got me thinking. Growing up I loved to watch the A-Team, CHiPS, knight rider and Macgyver. I still watch them from time to time when I catch them on.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

All time favorite and still watch every night is The Andy Griffith Show. A close second that I watch when I can is Sanford and Son. Never really liked the show that much, but I watched I Dream of Jennie simply because Barbara Eden was in it. She is in one of my all time favorite Andy Griffith episodes.

Is this an "old tv shows" thread, or a sitcom (situation comedy) thread?

When I was a little boy it was all about The Rat Patrol. Nothing else close except The Green Hornet. Cartoons were Johnny Quest and Underdog.

There are some on here that claim the Rifleman had the ghey. I don't believe it. After a lot of searching all I found was that somebody that looked like him had done a ghey porn film a long time ago. Rifleman is one of my favorites. But I like High Chaperal, Gun Smoke, Bonanza and the Big Valley too. Sea Hunt is on YouTube and I have been watching it there when I get time.

I liked that too. Tim Allen has a show now called "Last Man Standing". Its an exact replica of HI, except he has 3 girls instead of boys. It pretty funny. Its on Netflix.

To be an old sitcom it should have been in black and white.

Good Times

Other shows:

BJ and the bear was INCREDIBLE for a young fellow with a love of trucks... Co was Movin' On.
Three's company had the same effect, without the trucks.
Dukes was a young boy's fantasy as was Charlie's Angels.
Also liked Starsky and Hutch.
Fall Guy sparked an interest in being a stunt man (but never knew where to start)
Loved M*A*S*H*
and all of the old western shows (Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Rifleman...)
And then there was The Rockford Files and Baretta...
Today's youth don't have a clue...
