Good luck. There are probably a thousand folks on here looking for the same thing. I wish I had it for you.

It is very strange here. I am from GA and it is night and day difference. Harder to find something here. Ridiculous prices for not being QDM also. Also seen a lot of places that are 2 grand excluding turkey rights. Not strong trophy clubs that are advertised either. Not an issue at all in ga. Can find a really good club for 1500 with very good deer and turkeys

I've lived in Alabama most of my life, and lately, it is impossible to find anything to lease. I have been looking for something, anything, in the 250 to 500 acre range to lease in Russell, Macon, Lee, Chambers, or Tallapoosa, and I cannot find anything. I look every day. I am burned out on being in a club, and just want a place to myself, but it's looking like I'll be staying in a club. Every acre of land is either leased by a club, or listed for sale only.

Alabama has such a long season and liberal harvest regulations that many people from outside of the state flock here. This drives up the lease prices and boosts the local economies. Simple supply and demand. It seems like every tract from large to small are already spoken for.

Most lease land doesn't come available until June anyway. At that time they go on all the web sites.

Alabama season is no longer then ga. Actually ga is longer then Alabama for deer as well as turkey. Northern zone ga goes from second sat sept to jan 1, some counties till jan31 and southern zone through jan 31. Secondly you can kill 12 deer which I a pretty liberal limit as well as you do not have to check them in. Most clubs I see around here limit what you can and can not shoot in regards to does which is retarded in my opinion. People in Alabama would rather shoot a yearling spike, four point or a two half 8 point instead of does which makes no logical since at all.
