Ok, I am roughly 6'3" 300lbs.. What would be the best Yak, for my size and comfort?? just your opinon... Depends. I'm assuming you are going to fish with it. What kind of water will you be on, and what is your budget? I've been yakin for years now and my best advice would be buy used if possible and get the most comfortable seat and paddle you can afford like wew3006 said. There are lots of good places online to find a deal on one once you know what you want. Alabamawhitewater.org, boatertalk.com, and gon forum, and Craigslist to name a few. Also if there is a rental place near you they will sell their demos and you can try it out before you buy it.

Malibu makes a very stable, fisherman friendly kayak.

I have an Old Town canoe but now that my wife isn't able to paddle with me I would rather have a yak. I've enjoyed those lazy Sunday afternoon trips down the river but need something easier to paddle by myself.

It's stable as all get out too. I weigh 270 and when I launch it, I shove it off the bank and jump onto the dog platform and I ain't flipped it yet. It's my go to froggin boat. It's more stable than my 14/36 jon boat.
Yeah c’mon. Daniel White
