Good looking fox Jon! I guess I'm done as far as steel traps go this year. I'm having some back trouble and just getting up and down setting my dps has been a strain so I'm gonna put up my steel traps until I get my back fixed!

Way to go Big Rack! Good looking set up also! I see swivels and a shock spring there that looks like it held a coyote all night and a good part of the day.

Looks like the foot is still on the pan of that trap also! That coyote wasn't going anywhere!

Sorry about the crappy pic. Father in law went to check the traps this morning and didn't have a gun in the vehicle. So he called me to come kill it. Just a quick drive up take pic and shoot it out the window kind of thing.

One possum and one fox today. Pulled up the traps with more rain coming in. I was having trouble getting to them with all the mud!

Didn't catch much this year but have had fun with it and think I learned how to bed and set my traps better. Even with a couple of rains on them they all came right out of the ground when I tripped them to pull them up.

Same here. I'm not doing anything other than checking the traps until the weather clears up. I may move back to my property Sunday depending on the river forecast.

GW has given go ahead to trap nest predators through the spring. I'll also keep some coyote sets going as well.
