YAPER 4 point Y Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 242 Hope Hull	Montgomery County: Early Season/Bow: Above average(best time to kill a good buck on our place is bow season) Mid Season: Below Average (rifle season in full swing and daylight activity has slowed, still see some does but no mature bucks) Late: Average until the rut and then Above average when we get a rut. Big bucks are on their feet cruising, while your younger bucks are chasing every un-hot doe they see! Big bucks will make an occasional appearance. Late season and early bow are my 2 best chances at killing a mature buck. Last edited by YAPER; 01/30/15 09:03 AM.

If next year is as bad as the last couple of years, I'm seriously considering giving up hunting in Alabama and taking the resources & applying those to a couple of out of state hunts.
