What do yall think? Help me decide where my last hunt will be.
I just received permission today to hunt a new piece of property. I've never stepped foot on it. no one has had permission to hunt it until now. It is roughly 80 acres of hardwoods that backs up to a natural funnel between two peaks. pretty much only natural browse.

Or The same 77 acres that I've hunted all season. only about 7 times, but the property surrounding me get decent pressure. It too is hardwoods, on a ridge. There are nearby pastures for grazing, about 500 yards away from where i can hunt.

Let em' grow.

Stick to what you know if you're seeing deer...then go scout your new property right after the season for next year...

If you're not having luck currently, then go for it. What do you have to lose?

Go where there has been no pressure. If you go to old place and see nothing you'll wish you'd gone to new one. If you go to new one and see nothing then at least you had a chance to a new place. If you killed a nice ten point on either which would be more exciting and satisfying

New place for sure. Seems like you always see or kill deer when you go in blind.

I would hunt no pressure land. Find some fresh sign and set up on it til dark IMO. Whichever you choose good luck to you!

Another vote for the no pressure property.

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

My gosh, the season is 3.5 months. Go to a brand new place! There's nothing like a new piece of ground to investigate.

OK. Luke.
How did you like the new property. I know thats what the decission was. Seeing nothing isnt bad. Its being at work and wishing I could be in the woods , Even if I didnt see any deer.

Well my dad ended up wanting to go with me so I was unable to hunt the new property as my dad has bad knees. I saw 9 does bedded under me almost all day. Bit did I have to pee. The rut is normally in full swing at this time at that spot. Nothing was interested in my does
