What would the Fahrenheit equivalent be to 0.07 degrees Celsius?
If a thermal imaging/IR Camera has a thermal sensitivity rating of <0.07 degrees C...I'm trying to figure out what that would be in Fahrenheit. Specs: -4 to 1202°F, sensitivity < 0.07°C
Is it also 0.07 F or does the conversion from C to F change it to a different decimal #?
-4 to 1202°F, sensitivity < 0.07°C (_.__°F) ?????
Make sense?

Well, technically .07*C is 32.126*F.
But, if you're looking for the equivalence of .07 of a degree Celsius to Fahrenheit, I guess it would be .126*F.

I'm about to purchase a thermal camera today along with a bluetooth moisture meter that links to the camera and inputs the data on the saved thermal image. Was trying to understand the spec sheet better. I've been itching to get these for a long time. About to take our diagnostic work to a new level. Thanks for the help. FLIR E40 and FLIR MR77

In half the time it took to make the OP you could have googled it but that doesn't brag to your buddies on aldeer about your fancy new camera.

9/5(C) + 32 = F 9/5(.07) + 32 = 32.126 degrees F I didn't go to five years of engineering school for nothing.

Look at the Seek camera adapter for you phone first. For the price of that camera you can buy 10 that hook to your phone that will do your job. From your phone you can text email etc the photos.
You can actually see the image better on your phone than on the handheld camera.
Mine easily show difference between my fluorescence lights at the the ceiling. You could easily find AC leak points, leaks around door, windows, etc.
SEEK and the similar FLIR One are very neat tools for basic use. I'd love to have one of them too! But they are not at the same level as a "real" IR camera to issue actual thermography reports, to perform serious building diagnostics where the data is important to capture, and to stand up to scrutiny in legal case work. I'd much rather spend only $200-$300 for sure!

0deg C is 32deg F
37deg C is 98.6deg F
100deg C is 212deg F
I just remember these and guestimate the others.

I'm just dang excited about it! I don't blame you that's an expensive toy. Dang skippy! Add to that I'm going for certification training for a week in a couple months. Gets expensive. We ran the financial numbers and guessed we'll pay for it pretty easily just adding a line item for thermal imaging on our invoices for any water/moisture related cases we do. I figure about 25 inspections where we can charge $250 extra dollars will do it. Should have it paid off by the end of the year without any trouble. Since we are involved in over 100 cases per year, finding 25 to cover it should work. I can live with a 12 month ROI!

back in the early 90's i hunted with a german engineer that had access to early flir tech toys. there was one that was on the market for a while (i'll see if i can find it), we used it one fall finding downed dove in a cotton field. it only worked in the am while everything was still cool. neat little toy. at the time, the cost ratio put it outta the regular sportmans' use range..
