I noticed that when people ask for prayers to help them or loved ones through a crisis they may only get about 10 but when someone wants to know why coyotes kill deer they get 10 pages. Shame on ya'll
You goobs can take this however you want but I say a prayer for everyone of you each day whether you have asked for it or not.I don't post about it or brag about it but it's what I do.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?

When you get through judging people for not "praying" caused they didn't post that they did, how about changing your tampon and thank god a female would even like a puss like you.. I don't know any homo's, but if I did I would picture them being like you..

Someone will undoubtedly come along and take this the wrong way, but I'll say it anyway. It's a hunting forum. I come here as a general rule to read hunting related topics. I know we have a "General" forum that sees a hodgepodge of topics, but I my decision to visit the site was predicated mainly on the fact that it's a hunting forum. For that reason, I'm far more likely to participate in the discussion on deer and coyotes. I think you'll find that some of the serious hunting topics are the most widely responded to, period. I will occasionally participate in some of the other discussions or say a few words in support of someone, but I don't respond to all of them.

I never post I will pray....Always say one for who ask...Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who isunseen.
It's not a Passion, it's an Obsession. That's what I tell my wife, but she promptly informs it's a disease to which is incurable.

Does this mean Deerman is invited to the Annual Aldeer gay dove hunt?

I misunderstood. I thought that was the Daniel White way of inviting him and making him feel welcome
It's a hunting site not a religious site. I'd say most posts I've seen for prayers asked people do respond. But back to the fact that this is a hunting site and not a religious site. Maybe try a religious site next time??
How do you know how many people answered his request? I often don't respond because I don't think it is needed. They don't ask for a list of who prayed for them, just for the prayers.
I'm a member of the 700 Club, it just happens to be a Remington. I ain't got nothing against church or praying, but this ain't the place to try to turn folks into being Baptist, or getting me to feel sorry for dead cats.

I forgot about the cat...

I pray for everyone of them. Sometimes I reply to them, sometimes I don't. I don't reply to say "look at me" I reply to show the person support, to show them someone cares enough to pray for them and their situation. To bolster their spirit, not bring praise upon myself.
I usually reply to the prayer threads that have fewer replies to give them more encouragement, or to ones who are asked by people that I "know" better to show personal support.

I forgot all about the cat. That thread went south quick

Yep, he went there!
I posted months ago that if I read the prayer request, you get one. I don't have go shout from the roof tops that I believe in god.

Here's a real simple rule for you to consider...
Judge not, that ye be not judged. Matthew 7:1
Jesus... I hope you know Him personally like I do.
I pray for everyone of them. Sometimes I reply to them, sometimes I don't. I don't reply to say "look at me" I reply to show the person support, to show them someone cares enough to pray for them and their situation. To bolster their spirit, not bring praise upon myself.

I am another who prays but does not post about it. I was thinking about it the other day that there are a lot of prayers lifted that are not announced. I some one feels the need to ask for prayers, thatsbwhat he needs and gets. And I hope he knows that MOST of us will offer up a prayer even if we don't post it. God bless those who ask for his Grace.
Let us cross over the river and rest in the shade of the trees Stonewall Jackson Hug your loved ones often, Life is short even on its longest days. I don't see the glass as half full or half empty. I just finish it and order another.
Wow ... Now that I've gotten back up off the floor laughing my butt off I think I can keep a straight face and answer ... Yeah, some of the folks were poking fun at you and it was probably well deserved. I'll stop there and not go any farther down that hole ...
Just because I don't respond don't mean I didn't send a prayer. Some times I do respond because I want to encourage whoever posted the request. When I do I feel kind of strange ... like I'm trying to show off that I'm a Christian. As a result, I don't respond the majority of time.
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...
So you are upset because not everyone types a reply to a prayer request and you are quick to point a finger.... But did you pray for each and everyone on this forum today? Or condemn everyone? I guess you did not pray for us since you didn't post that you prayed for us... Remember the great commission is to gather others into the church, not condemn. And how many people did you invite this week to church deerman?
I say a little prayer every time I open one of TC's thread, does that count?
Thing is with this site the folks on here are pretty dang good people and I'm sure you could probably ask anyone of them for help and they'd be there. Last year when my travel trailer broke down one of the guys I'd never met before stopped by to see if I needed any help. I'd posted in here, mostly out of frustration about it, that I'd left it at dollar general parking lot and was headed back the next day to replace the wheel bearing and he swings by on his way to hunt and checks on me. Don't assume because every post isn't answers with a "prayers sent" reply that we ain't praying. Religion is a personal thing and everybody has their own way.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

My thoughts as well.

Posting a request for prayers are folks that are praying out loud.

sorry I brought it up. if this is just a hunting forum why is there a section on farming, vegies and football
No one suggested it's "just" a hunting forum. However, it is "first and foremost" a deer hunting forum. There is room for plenty of other topics, including prayer requests.
