Ben2 OP Old Mossy Horns Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 19,652 Pelham	Hammerdown popped one of the oldest deer we wanted to take out this year. He ain't much to look at but was definately mature. I think he was at least 5 based on pics we have of him. How old do the experts think he was?

Dano 10 point Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,499 Linden, AL	Man I killed one just like that a few years ago, the club I was in had nicknamed him cinco, he was a five point but by the time I killed him he was a three point with a point of the back of his main beam. The guys told me he had been that way for 4 years. We aged him about 7 as well. I hunted him all year. One guy had him at 30 yards and hadn't chambered a round in his gun. I got him a few weeks later chasing a doe. He is one of my favorite deer I've killed and has crap for a rack. It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it. Knute Rockne
