Blessed OP 10 point B Joined: May 2006 Posts: 3,585 alabama	Matt why do some bucks 2.5 to 3.5 have white hocks this time of year where I hunt , usually the bucks are after them long after season is out was surprised to see a nice 8 point but his hocks looked like cotton .

Young buck sees a herd of does and says to the old buck, "lets run down there and breed one of those does" and the old bucks says, "How bout we walk down and breed em all"! It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

blumsden 12 point B Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 5,650 Lincoln, Alabama	I killed a mature 8ptr 2 years ago on 1/19. His tarsal glands were blond, no staining whatsoever. I asked the same question, and was told that some bucks are just that way, really no explaining it.
