Guys, I hope everyone kills a bird today!
I finished the Alabama season yesterday morning by killing my 3rd gob of the year. He came from my little piece of heaven in Lowndes county. Will post pics and story when I get back. I'm flying out to Nebraska in 2 hours to see if I can get a Merriam!

Doc, where will you be? We are hitting another county in north Oklahoma then driving up to south west Nebraska and then to just south of Valentine ...lol nvm didn’t see this was from 2011...

Dr. B Doc, I didn't realize we were in Nebraska at the exact same time that week in 2011. It was May 1st because that is my son's birthday. We came in from a long day hunting and saw the breaking news on TV. If you recall, it was also the week of the terrible tornadoes in Birmingham. I was driving to Little Rock to pick up and buddy and then on to Nebraska. Drove through Birmingham and all the street lights were still out and damage everywhere.
