Keep looking, go back tomorrow & keep looking, then start making circles from the spot where u found hair. Start close, then start getting progressively bigger with your circles. Hope u find him. Robinhedd

Don't give up. Keep looking. I have found several deer because I made the extra effort. This year I recovered a six point that I shot broadside dead center behind the shoulder. The only blood I found was where he was standing. There was also a lot of long hair. There was no blood trail at all. I only found him because I watched him run and I marked his last spot with a compass from my stand. He was laying about 100 yards from my stand. I shot him at 9 am and found him at 11am.

id definitely look for him at least a couple hours in the am. If he was walking towards you and you shot thru him the white hair might be from his rump

I dont know how you could get white hair with him walking directly at you with his head down unless the bullet went thru neck or shoulders. Id get a dog out there tomorrow
