I just talked to Tim (the guy who has the lease) and he wants $3500 for the turkey rights. That should be roughly $2 an acre. The land is located just south oh Hwy 162 when the road makes a horseshoe bend. The club has 7 members from Louisiana and none of them turkey hunt so whomever leases it will have sole turkey rights.

I think I might know a thing or two about this place as well. Pretty sure I remember you killing a doe out of season over bait on this place.

well does it have any turkeys? 10 years ago my boss limited out on day #5 on this place. That was before we cut a lot of the old timber. It has some of the biggest food plots on a 'timber' company land that you will see anywhere in Alabama. I can tell you that this tract has had special management treatment. We have done professional camera surveys, fetal surveys, etc. I'm somewhat biased but I'm comfortable saying that it was better managed then than it is now. But it is still an excellent place with lots of game. You will have no problem killing a turkey.

Does anyone know if there is a camp house, or somewhere to stay, included? Would maybe be interested in splitting with someone. There may be a trailer to rent aprox 10 miles away from lease
