QDMAlan OP 4 point Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 410 Barbour County	Planning on purchasing a crossbow for next season fairly soon. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good one without breaking my wallet? I would like to be able to shoot out to 50 yards. Looking to spend under $500 if possible.

Most of the advice I've read says 40 yards is about the max you want to shoot a deer. A lot can happen after you pull the trigger beyond 40yds.
