Mobile Al,
Is there anyone who knows of a low member "high quality" "Trophy" club or lease, that manages their deer and doesn't shoot everything that walks? I am at wits end with the clubs I have been a member of in past years. Tired of letting young bucks walk only to see them blown away later in the season by blood thirsty hunters who never give them a chance to mature!! Sick and tired of all the "If its brown its down BS"!!!

I live in the mobile area and I love to bow hunt! looking for a place in the blackbelt possibly around livingston, demoplis, etc.. Within about 3.5-4 hours of mobile. Wil also go west into Mississippi. I shoot NOTHING execpt mature deer. I work alot and dont get to hunt too often, but when I do I want to feel good about where Im hunting. Hopefully I can find a group of people who belive in QDMA and think about a deers potential before harvesting the animal. Tired of irresponsible, lazy, immature hunters who want all the work done for them, that dont want to lift a dang finger but just shoot deer! Looking to create or be a part of something GREAT!

I certainly do not mind paying the extra $$$$ for a quality place to hunt! Not looking for anything over 7 or 8 members. Looking for bowhunt only members but I understand that will be hard to find, So dont mind hunting with gun hunters if its the right place! If you have private land and are thinking about leasing a few hundred acres I am also very intrested!! If you are looking for such a member on your lease or know of anyone that is for next year, please inbox me contact info! Thanks!!!

IM RickRoss I am sure he will let you help him bait deer and help with the cost of high fencing his 150 acres! Sounds like y'all would get along famously!

Or, you could just book hunts at Giles Island!

Mobile Al,
Not really sure what you are talking about? I said nothing about booking hunts, baiting deer, or hunting a high fence. Seeing as I don't know you either, don't understand your intent with your sarcasm.

Dude you need to just save your $ and spend your time and go to Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Kentucky, or someplace like that. Lease a farm up there with some buddies that think like you. You will continue to beat your head against the wall until it's bloody if you're waiting to find your perfect bow hunting only, well managed, only kill 140+ bucks, low members, large acres, and minimum surrounding hunting pressure in this state. Good luck on your quest tho.

Mobile Al,
Thanks Doc, but really trying to stay in state.. I'm not looking to kill 140" deer either. Just looking for a place that is well managed and the hunters give the deer a chance to mature.

Not sure a lot of sarcasm is intended. No time to hunt, willing to spend money and want a guarantee, sounds like the perfect solution. Or, really test your hunting prowess and hunt public land!

Mobile Al,
I have hunted public land plenty and killed plenty of deer. Why are you concerned with type of club I want to be in anyways? Who are you to question my reasons?

You might want to look at Corps of Engineers land on Alabama River. It is quality land, plenty of it, free, and bow hunting only. Once gun season starts it is lightly hunted while all the gun hunters head to their clubs.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I totally understand..That's the reason I have only killed one buck on my property in Gulfcrest in the last ten years. I refuse to lower my standards. If I didn't own it I wouldn't even bother with it. Good luck on your search!
