Ok folks i got an atv this year for hunting. Its a polaris and im having to order the rack extenders to mount my bow to. Long story short ive been carrying my bow while driving to my hunting spots (pain in the arse). Whats yalls opinion on the best way to mount the bow to the atv?

I use atv gun holders on the front rack. Turn them sideways so they'll grip the limbs of your bow.

Long story short ive been carrying my bow while driving to my hunting spots (pain in the arse). Whats yalls opinion on the best way to mount the bow to the atv? i have a Can Am Xmr.. I dont even have a front rack... But, when I use it for huntin I stap my tree stand to the back rack and lay my bow on top of my jacket and bungee strap it down. But, I do understand where you are coming from. Mine has what they call the LINQ's system. Which is cool and all but the run of the mill attachments wont work as they do on other ATV's.

I use a primos bow sling. Put it around my neck and I let the bow lay across my arms. Works perfect for me.

What brand do you use? Also does it keep the bow pretty sturdy?

n2trkys what brand do you use? Not sure about the brand name. It's the hard plastic/rubber one that doesn't have the "teeth" looking stuff on it. You turn them so the limbs are held firmly. Mine doesn't move, when I put my bow in it.

I strap my hardcase down to the front rack...way too many opportunities to jack up a string where I drive my atv.

I went to the pawn shop and found a 10 dollar padded soft case and strap it to the front rack.

I now use a hard case and strap it to my rear rack after I almost ruined a HHA sight using a soft case. If you value your bow, do not use a soft case.

I use my hard case & strap it down. Same thing with my rifle. This fellow has it.
