Set up in a hackberry looking over thick privet, creek in front beyond that with a trail wore out where they been up and down this bank, pasture to my left that angles back into where this comes together. Saw deer here Friday, in the wrong tree.

I'm in a hardwood draw on a creek. Only hunted this property one time so far this year. Hoping for a big slick head.

Sittin on a fence line bordering open hardwoods and thick stuff. It's a little foggy, slight mist, and extremely quiet.

I'm set up on the edge of a pasture and wood line in lamar county. Trying to make up for a miss saturday evening in this same stand. Good luck guys

I have been following Yall this season and I'm glad I'm not the only one that hunts with bow only. Yall make me proud to be part of Aldeer Bow Fourm. We are a dieing breed of hunters. My hats off to yall.

That is the truth.. I usually try and post in here but late season it gets real low in the numbers... I think I started a LFTT one day at like 1000 or so. I will admit that if needed i will breakout the cheater(rifle) if I haven't killed one by now..

I've taken the muzzleloader twice....Haven't used the rifle at all. One of the times I took the muzzleloader, I had the bow too. Shot one with the bow that day.

I've bow hunted all year but have gotten behind on the LFTTs. You guys that hunt public land are the best hunters in my opinion. My hats off to yall.

I don't post every time I hunt. Y'all would swear I was unemployed. Bow hunting is tough this time of year, but I feel like I'm cheating if I pick up the .270. To me, there's a lot more satisfaction in killing a deer with a bow.

But to JD's point, I do see a lot of the same names on here all year.

I feel the same way. I don't get excited when I shoot them with a gun...

People would be asking for some money back if they saw how much I hunt. I won't dare count us how many days I have hunted or how much money I have spent.. Because I might quit if I knew how much I hunted and how much it cost me.

Don't give us much credit.. My 13k acre lease (Lowndes wma) is bow only 90% of the year. There are a few gun hunts and I get weird looks when ppl see I still have a bow in my hand..

i havent been on here long but i love reading and posting in the LFTT as well and the only time i have picked up a rifle in two years is when my son goes and he is the one shooting then. I have never killed a wallhanger with my bow (several does and small bucks) but that is number one on my bucket list now

I've taken one buck with the rifle this year, but haven't arrowed a deer in 6 years. I have been out there a lot this season since I got a new bow back in October and will probably take to bow down to Macon county on MLK day since I'll be hunting National Forest land and I want to get something with the new bow. I enjoy bow kills more, but at the same time I love my beautiful marlin 308mxlr and like to take it out when I can, though it was at the smith when I shot my buck this season.
