not all hunts are done in the summer . some are done the days right after season . farmers will plant wheat in cotton soybeans fields , what ever . soon as season goes out the slaughter begins . if you are a hunting club and lease the rights next to a farmer and he ask you to kill more deer because the deer are eating his crops my advice is kill more deer . if you don't the farmer will kill EVERY deer that comes in the field .

i know i done it before .

Exactly I was on a permit this summer, and the farmer would get on my tail if I wasn't out there 3-4 nights per week. Every bite a deer takes in the fields is money coming out of their pockets.

**** also your not allowed to kill bucks******

Is there any bonus's for the farmer other than dead deer? Reason I ask is, theres a local club here that the land owner sets the rules on what can and can't be shot. I believe its around 1000-1200 acres. You can only shoot 2 does per member. There was a big deal year before last that caused alot of the members to get out. Land owner only allowed 2 does to be killed, then was having someone come in during the summer with the depredation permits to kill deer out of the crop fields.

What would his logic on this be?

Only way it makes sense is if the farmer likes to night hunt.

Or if the guy shooting them was paying him for some reason. Venison is not cheap if you knew someone selling to restaurants and didn't care where it came from or if it had paperwork.
