I'm looking for a new rangefinder. Anyone use a Leupold full draw? Are there any better options for under 300. I will use it mainly for bow hunting but rifle hunting some. Thanks

I got a leupold RX 1000i for Christmas, and Cabelas has it at $299. Still learning how to use it, but it's pretty sweet

They aren't cheap but if it's a decent one it should last several years. I got a Bushnell Chuck Adams edition and it has been a good one. I had it out during the rain the other day and moisture had gotten inside the lens. I couldn't see out of it. But I'm looking at it now and it has cleared up. It's working fine.

I believe it was around 200. This is the fourth season I've used it.

If you're going to bow hunt, a rangefinder is one of the best / most important investments you can make.

Who uses the slope setting and who uses the regular setting? Just curious.

I don't have one with angle compensation. But from practicing at home, both elevated and flat, the biggest difference I've ever had was like 2 yds.

The display on mine shows both. Usually the ARC reading is two or three yards less.

I'm sure I'll save and get one eventually, just not right now. I'm slowly accumulating things for hunting, so it will be something that happens eventually. I'm getting married in 2 days, money is tight thumbup

Then again, she bought me a bow for christmas, and my birthday is coming up...
