Found a steal on a Mathews heli m. Was somewhat skeptical of how short it is, but I shoot it pretty dang well. I've recently shot several Mathews, all the new Hoyt's, elites, and new breed. Of those, my favorite was the new breed lycan and the helim. I may have liked the lycan a little more, but found a steal on this one. Time to retire the old diamond

was that bow on craigslist yesterday? it looks like one that was posted and if it is then YES you got a steal no doubt.

yeah that was it, actually got it for a decent ammount less than listed . I bought an outback a while back, and shot it for about 6 years, then sold it for $50 more than i had in it. These bows take a huge hit in depreciation in the first 2 years, but will stick in the 4-500 range for 10 years or more. never made any sense to buy a new one to me.

I saw it yesterday and started to post it on here for anyone interested. I got an outback this year and like it but it's just to short for me. Nothing wrong with the bow but I think I will be doing some horse trading this off season.

I really liked my outback as a hunting bow, but it was too easy to torque it shooting much past 45 or so. This heli m seems to be much more forgiving than the outback was, even though its a short bow. I shot 3 groups this morning before work at 40 yds, and the biggest was 4ish inches with 4 arrows.

you hit the nail on the head. I like it in close and out of a blind but it is easy for the torque to get you on the longer shots. I guess I will say the bow is more accurate than I am lol.

I have had my eye on the Helim and also a z7.
