What's the best scent to use on a drag rag when walking to your stand. I had a goodun come in 50 yards behind me about 7. He got to were i came in and took off never blowed.

I've used Code Blue Doe in Estrus on drag rags with success on several occasions. Other doe in heat products may work just as well, that's just the one I've always used.

If somebody kills a doe I try to get whatever piss she has in her other than that I use Tinks 69

My dad had a buck come up to were he had just walked with some Tink #69 on a drag rag and the buck turned around and ran away from it.

I've had a buck trail me grunting for over 100 yds when I used Tink's 69 on a drag.

I cant find tink's. But i found the cold blue. Guess ill go back and get it and try it.

I don't think you are going to attract many deer using cold blue

I've read where some guys have used vanilla extract. I would caution anyone that has bears around, not to use it.

I use to spray doe pee on my boots the last 100 yards to my stand. Then I would spray coon pee in the tree. I killed a lot of good bucks with my bow that way.

Rubber boots and quit touching stuff on your way in. Leave those scents on the shelf.

I have used code blue and Harmons. Harmons has worked better for me down here.

IMO, i don't think scents work. I have lanes trimmed, going to all my stands, so i can be quiet and not leave as much scent behind. Rubber boots have been proven, not to work.
