Are you doing a survey or writing up a small complaint book on GW's.

Either way it's a tough job being a warden and we got to have them.

I think she is just trying to do some cheerleading for Cliff Robinson since some here have complained about him lately.

I think as a whole they are doing a great job. There may be a few ah around but everyone Ive had any dealing with have been great.
As I tell my sons all the time, just follow the laws and you will be ok.

I'm in Florida but can give nothing but positive reports on our local game wardens. We had a poaching issue and the FWC worked with me and a couple other landowners and we put an end to it. That was three years ago and we haven't had a single incident since. Those guys are professionals, lots of knowledge, care for the resources, and easy to talk to. Our wardens are cross trained and do both land and marine law enforcement. They might be patrolling the bay and gulf one day then in the woods the next. I've been very impressed with the job they do.

Cheerleading for me? Not at all. Results speak for themselves. Not aware of anyone complaining though feel free to do so. Actually I told her people have more respect for gws than she thinks. Outlaws excluded. Most complainers about gws tend to have been ticketed for something or complain about someone not ticketed due to lack of evidence though a complainant wanted a case made no matter what. I told her most law abiding hunters and fishermen support conservation law enforcement. Hence the topics. And while on this topic almost all gws are hard working fair etc. I think the best work for me.

If it affects the environment it affects the wildlife and fishes too!

All the GW's in my area are pretty good guys and real helpful if you ask. They have a job to do, and it is a job that often angers the perp. But, it is job that has to be done.

I've not had an encounter with any Cullman wardens but I've heard good things and seen that backed up here. We don't have near as many deer hunting as most other counties so the poaching is not as big of a problem. I've never been checked in Cullman and other than Wheeler I've only been checked two other times that I recall while hunting. Once on black warrior (road block deer hunting) and once squirrel hunting at Swan Creek. Now if you want to swap to police officers I have lots of speeding and seat belt stories and more bad experiences than good.

Maybe it's just me but they seem nonexistent in Covington county.

Couldn't tell you their names, in Hale County. Can't even tell you how many we have? Go back a few decades and I knew them all.

My neighbor got one of ours on one of his cameras Saturday in North Perry county so he's obviously out doing his job.

I had you mixed up with a young guy in Montgomery named Cliff. Not sure the last name but I think he works Chilton county. I've never had a run in with any of them but I have seen some complaints on here about that particular officer

True that - my encounters have been no problem. Could be possibly better looking, but they can't help that.
