This year our plots are taller than I have ever seen them this time of year. Not sure if it is the warmer temps we been having or just lack of use because of more food in the woods or just less deer from killing more does last few years or combination of all three. I know it is not from a lot of acorns because we have very few oak trees and most of what we have didn't have a good crop this year. Normally by now they are eat down pretty good but this year they are probably twice as tall as normal. Anyone else seeing this where they hunt.

Ours are eaten down worse than normal. We had no acorns.

The WMA plots look great. Plenty of acorns on the WMA.

My plots usually score a 9-10 on how lush and pretty they are and the deer tear them up. This year we didn't get a rain for a solid month after seed went in ground. I'd give them a 5 this year. Not much height and spotty areas that just didn't grow.

Warmer weather hasn't killed off the natural browse nor bittered up the acorns.

Have you tried Google?

Our plots are very mowed down. We had tons of acorns, also.

Mine are same way. Plenty of deer. Plenty of acorns and browse. Hasn't got blistering cold yet.

Mine look like crap, but it is due to overgrazing. I put some ammonite out a couple of weeks ago ant they jumped a little, but they are eating them up now.
