Set up in a hardwood swamp just outside of some thin pines, 100 west of a four year old cutover. Got a lot of deer in here. Well see of a shooter, or a nanny shows their face.

Hunting Freedom Hills today. Set up on a gravel road crossing that I have had luck with in the past. I bought one of the missed priced Bone Collector loc ons with the rapid rails combo for $52 shipped to the front door from Walmart last year. I set it up this morning and now I'm in it. Just as fast as a climber but didnt have to saw but one limb so I'm hid pretty good. These deer are in pre rut stage with scrapes popping up everywhere. Good luck everyone.

Sitting on a hardwood flat on the corps land I've killed three in the last three trips that were full of acorns but I haven't found any dropping

We will burn that bridge when we get there

That's a pretty spot. I hunted there a little when I was in college. Two if my buddies had land that bordered the wma and both were as fine of Alabama hunting as you will find.

I seen zero this morning. Got down did some scouting and got something to eat. Now I'm back in same tree as this morning and I never climb the same tree twice in one day , but I like this spot to much. laugh

Zeroed again. It's rare for me to not see anything at freedom hills. However I did get some scouting done. Now all I need is the gun hunters to get out after this weekend and I will start working on the deer population. Lol.
