Just another paranoid deer hunter if you ask me.

I reckon these guys keep there wives tied up so no one else can see them. That way they won't get poached either.

Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean that they aren't out to get me.

And yes, I am paranoid

lease went from 350 to 1200 and then the next year i got kick out of club.. because someone ran a story(which i refused them a story) on Ray Scott clover news paper that i killed it over one of their food plots... it was a mess. its over now. dont even hunt in that county any more.

If this smartass killed a deer even close to what this one was your damn right it would have been posted on here and I would have been in the picture grinning like a jackass eating briers. Probably would have even stopped hunting for the rest of the year and just take a child to the same spot and hoped this bucks brother stepped out or one bigger. But that's just the smartass in me I guess.

That deer very well could have been taken in or around Hamilton. Hamilton is all I hunt, and I see bucks like that regularly. I passed on two like that this morning.

Because the three buck limit does not allow us to kill enough. We can't get past the spikes grin

Maybe you should dust up on your reading comprehension skills a little before you come busting up in here calling someone a smartass. It isn't that hard to understand.

Yeah, I get it. It's a DEER. Nothing more, nothing less. I've killed a trailer truckload of them from a spike up to a 165" and in the end they're still just deer. To me, a big part of the enjoyment of hunting and killing a good deer is sharing it with others. I live in a small town and when you kill a good one, everyone hears about it. Sure there are some that will talk and make accusations and that's fine. It doesn't bother me in the least. If I ever get to the point where I kill a good deer and feel like I need to keep it a government secret for fear of what others say or do, I'll hang it up. It's not that serious to me.

So just how did you come to that conclusion? I've killed several and have never made a big deal out of one, or posted a picture of one on here for that matter. Why? Because it's just a deer. I don't kill deer for attention or to boost my ego. I do it because I enjoy it. If someone else kills a big deer, and post pictures, I'm happy for them and enjoy looking at them. It isn't a competition of "mine's bigger than yours" that many seem to want to make it. It's just a damn deer.

This thread is a PRIME example of precisely what is wrong with deer hunting in 2014. Boone and Crockett, or whoever came up with the idea of putting a score on a deer, should have had their teeth knocked out at the first mention of the idea.

Wow...What a thread! I get it!!! I have just one word for some of you... "Geo-tagging".
Take a picture with your phone, trail-cam, or any modern day camera and if you are not intimately familiar with the settings or firmware on that device you can/will devulge the location of where the pic was taken without any clue (Lat&Long).
I used to post up trail-cam pics of bucks on here, but haven't in quite some time...why??? I never had a problem with poaching or night hunters until...well let's just say it was a strange coincedence.
For 99% of the ALDEER members this is probably not an issue, but for the other 1% and the lurkers, etc...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to extract this geographical data from a pic.

Can someone explain to me what just happened? I just read 8 pages and all I can gather is that several people in this thread have sore vaginas.

In that case....I would suspect the deer living in and around these folks' skinning shed have had a bad day.
