There is some where around roughly 60-70k acres of management area in Jackson County on James D. Martin WMA.
&
The Coon Gulf Tract is mostly availible for archery- not sure how much acreage is there.
I would go get the WMA maps from OutdoorAlabama.com or your closest Walmart/ outdoor store and study up on them a little. I don't have many tips other then that. Hope that somewhat helps. Good luck!

Plenty of TVA land in Jackson and Marshall countys that is bow hunting only. You have to call TVA to get a free permit. Not exactly sure if there are maps of the land or not.
Hope this helps a little.
Illusion There is no permit required to hunt TVA land. All you need is a hunting license.
