I grew up riding out there prior to it becoming WMA and it was unheard of seeing a deer out there. Shelby def wouldn't be in my top 10 Alabama counties to hunt but there are some good deer taken there every season. If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough...
