Thanks casey, I didn't talk about it at work, don't want to get emotional at the work place.

Thanks for sharing your story. When we lost one of ours, we got another one, then inherited two more. It gets better ! Got luck with Killer Buck too.

Sorry bout dog...my dad lost one a few years ago that he was that close to.

Good deer

While I think you are clinically insane for telling ANYONE that you have a 170-180" buck alive where you hunt, don't you dare snap out of it until after you post pics of it on here after you kill it

Thanks again guys! Lol as far as mentioning about killer, I feel ok about it, no one knows where I hunt and my family guards it from all sides... Very thoroughly, they don't hunt they get pleasure from keeping people off their land haha 2 people hunt it, me and my dad.

Also, I live about 3 minutes from where I mainly hunt, mentioned above, on a soybean farm, probably about 40 acres of woods on it. It's surrounded by big woods though and my friend that lives next door killed this one there yesterday morning. Her woods connect to mine. It's a very young 13 point. Haha this is defiantly the time to say, "woulda been a beast in 2 years" but still a nice un and her best ever! Just shows that there must be good nutrition out here.
