"Never let a good crisis go to waste"...ah the mantra of the liberal and progressive left. Civil Rights activists, the White House Regime, the Department of Justice, local community organizers, certain liberal media outlets, and other groups across the country are all signed up to push and push the Ferguson, MO issue of Michael Brown's death at the hands of a white police officer. It doesn't matter to them that the criminal, aggressive, and non-compliant actions of Michael Brown are the root of the issue and directly led to his own demise. That story doesn't get any traction, media coverage, or attention. So they stick to their perverted story to gain ground: History of racist behavior has left a whole community untrusting and things must change so the black people can be free from their oppressors....innocent children never need to be shot...police should use softer approaches so that they don't kill kids...etc...
The activist leaders know the real story, but that story doesn't spin right for their cause. They are seeking social justice and reparations and power and control as payback for actual real civil right violations back in the day. They are seeking social justice for recent racist actions too. But most of all they are seeking attention so that the government will spend more $ in their communities and give more hand-outs. the leaders are loved and gain power. the masses are unknowingly enslaved with the dollar.
If they were truthful, they'd lay the blame at Michael Browns own feet. If they were honest, they'd not blame the white police officer for defending himself. But they are not...that doesn't serve their purpose. They fuel the anger and rage (unjustly targeted at the officer) of the community...they spin the most egregious progressive liberal spin. The sheep of the masses, follow where they are led because they have refused to desire Truth and virtue and goodness and honor (as do their leaders and much of the media).
If the masses were decent, they would not riot, protest, loot or burn their own town..not incite others to act that way. But they want social justice too and the benefits that come along with it.
Ultimately it is their worldview which is way off target. Instead of seeking Truth and True Justice, instead of seeking God and His Glory, they are seeking political gain, power and money under the guise of "justice". Their hearts are darkened and eyes blinded to the truth.
Perhaps a history of racial inequality and injustice can make a person bitter and always angry. Perhaps it skews perceptions of reality. The Michael Brown shooting wasn't in the racial hotbed of the past, but in today's America. Teh shooting appears to be justified and justice was in fact served with the no-bill.
It is tragic that a young person lost his life through his own poor choices and attitude. It is sad that parents lost their son and family/friends lost a loved one. Life is precious and sacred, all life, even a teenager on the wrong path.
It is also tragic that a police officer had to shoot and kill someone. It is sad that he will have to live with that, even though he was justified. It is sad that the officer's career will most likely be over, or at least greatly changed. He'll have to look over his shoulder for a long long time.
The activist leaders and sheep followers only see the false tragedy: racist cop and prosecutor oppressing the black community once again...racist prosecutor covering it up by not being aggressive enough to go after Officer Wilson.
So they loot, riot, hold press conferences, and get on TV interview shows to further advance their agenda with blatant disregard for the Truth...after all, "never let a good crisis go to waste"
