Why msu over bama? When bama won the head to head matchup. Because I still think they are the more complete team. Bama was playing at home and State folded under the pressure in the first half. If State would have brought pressure on Sims in the first half like they did in the second half I don't think the game would have been in question. States qb had a terrible game ( much credit to bamas defense) when an average game would have gotten the job done. Any team that can put pressure on Sims will make him look terrible and make the offense anemic i.e, LSU, Ole Miss , ArK, and State in the second half.

At home?..I don't see what pressure to Sims has to do with what happened in the second half of the Miss game..Looked like classic bama to me get a big lead & get the big head and get a quick reality check..

If the losing team of every game did things different than of course they would win, but they didn't do things different and they lost, that's why the games are played. If that game had been for the national championship and the outcome was the same would you still put msu over bama? Of course not. Just like when ole miss beat bama I thought bama should have won but no way I would have had bama ranked over ole miss after that game.

Alabama is better than ole miss, overall. OM just had Bama's kryptonite in that they could get pressure on Sims which makes Alabama sub par offensively. I think Oregon looks better than Alabama right now but I still think Alabama is the better team. I'm basing my rankings on who I think is actually the best and the best team doesn't always win.

I am not going to put them in order. I could care less. I think the BEST 4 teams are Oregon, Bama, Ohio State, and MS State. I believe FSU will get spanked by any of these 4. It kills me to put Ohio State in the mix, but they are playing well right now. If it was 8 teams, I think these 4 would be the final 4 as well.
