At 45 my eyes aren't what they used to be. I'm not seeing that good driving at night and in the woods they are not as sharp as they used to be. I still pick up movement real good but far away its getting a little tough. I don't think ill be real fond of putting contacts in and out. do any of y'all wear glasses to hunt? Are they a pain in the rear to deal with and do they fog up all the time etc... I'm open to hear what y'all use and any suggestions. ps- I can do without the your getting old wise cracks, I already know it. lol...

I wear them...just when Im awake slap
Biggest issue you'll have is fogging...fix is to not cover yur nose or mouth with mask etc...Have some some a Buddy gave me, gonna try, when I get to go...an anti fogging stuff...
With binos I usually just push my glasses up with the binos...you have to adjust them anyway so its easy to focus them...

I use to wear glasses for years. I hated them. I've been wearing contacts for several years now. A lot better.

I wore contacts for years. There's an incredible amount of dust floating around in the woods and I had to keep a small bottle of saline solution with me when I hunted. Plus the daily cleaning. I finally went back to lineless bifocals and I just deal with it. As previously noted, fogging is the biggest issue.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Yep. Fog up sometimes.

Fogging is the only real PIA.

Spread a thin coat of shaving cream on both sides of the lens. Let it dry then buff with a soft cloth. Fogging problem solved.

I wear contacts now. I used to wear glasses, but I hate them. As said above, the fogging and binos, but I cannot shoot a bow with glasses on and i had a hard time looking through a scope.

Glasses every day here and fogging is the only problem.

There is a great product with a terrible name but it works: Cat Crap. I find it a Marks Outdoors.

Worn them for years. I wear trifocals now, so it's really a challenge. If I have to wear a head net or a hood, fogging gets to be a problem. It's also a pain with binoculars.

I get some antifog wipes from eye dr.also carry some stuff they had at walmart. Use it on glasse. Scope. And binos. The glasses are better if you wash them with hot water ad dish detergent. Like others said. Uncover nose and mouth when wearing mask. When using binos just push them up. Tried the contacts, and liked them. But after a couple of weeks, got tired of putting them in, in the morning. Glasses have actually saved me from damaging and injuring my eyes on several occasions

Fogging is not my problem, I got a big enough nose that there is space to breath.

My problem is the low light problem, I have to step out of my stand earlier than I used to cause I can't see in the dark very well anymore. I walked out at 4:50 today when I know that I could have been there 15 minutes longer but my glasses do not handle low light well at all.

Can't shoot without scope no more because of eye sight. PITA

It's a pain in the A. I wear progressives but use bifocals for hunting.
They will fog, I keep a lens wipe in my pocket. Take them off with your binos and when its dark. My scope is a Loupold vari x III 3.5x10x50 with heavy duplex reticle.
Iv tried other scopes most of which have a thinner reticle, the heavy duplex which is exclusive to Leupold will get you those last miniutes of day light.

Contacts aren't that bad once you get used to them. The first few times will be tough because of getting used to sticking your finger in your eye but after that, piece of cake.

Interesting, just checked out their web site. I would like to see how they work in low light though. I would think that that type of coating would reduce light transmission. Scope optics use coatings to optimize visible light why not glasses.
I tried contacts, PIA and still had to wear readers.

I wear extended wear contact lenses. I've worn a pair for ridiculously long periods of time but you can safely wear them for a couple weeks or so without taking them out. I keep my glasses in the truck just in case but I hate having to wear them hunting.

One day the right woman will come along and the next thing you know you'll be wearing her underwear!
