Rain and clouds got out of here a little before 3:00. So, I decided to go sit and hunt a little while in one of our biggest fields. It was still pretty windy and kept the deer from moving. Finally, about 4:30, it started dying down and got to blowing steady from the SW at about 5 or 6 mph. It wasn't long and the deer went to moving. Had a few does and fawns come in first and then a 6 pt. They fed around a while and a couple more does joined em. About the time it was getting hard to count the points on the 6 pt, they all started watching the woodline where the 6 pt came in. Sure enough, here they came! 1st out was a spike, then a 5pt and 8pt together. They fed out into the field and then looked back and this bigger 8pt came easing in. I watched him a little while and let him get on out into the filed to make sure he was the last in line and then decided that his backstraps would be fine with some gravy and potatoes! LOL Pretty fun hunt and a decent deer.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
