Has anybody on here ever been. And thanks bigt No problem. I took my daughter for her graduation trips years ago to Texas on a hunt. It was an awesome trip that we still talk about today. We are thinking about going back ourselves ......

What sort of hunt are you looking for and what's your budget for their trip for the two of you?

Ive been there a ton..deer hunting, hog hunting and turkey hunting. South Texas and North Texas are real gd, west Texas is pretty good too. The piney woods of east texas not as much.
North Texas in the panhandle is wheat oats and peanut field..really big fields with wind rows...and mesquite and pear thicket. They have some HUGE deer...just not as many. But quality.
South Texas has some great bucks on private managed ranches.
West texas you see a ton of deer. Management hunts for 115 - 130 inch bucks are pretty cheap...trophy hunts for 130 plus inches more expensive.
Places Ive been are all fair chase...no high fences.
