This probably has already been kicked around....I'm not going to kill a deer but I'm in the woods a lot with a rifle. I figured it would be easier to keep a harvest record with me. Was just going to cut one out of the 2014-2015 "Alabama Hunting & Fishing Digest". No place for name or license # !! Doe harvest on there??? This thing is a joke!!

That's the one I have and I showed it to a game warden yesterday when he checked me. I told him that I had killed a doe and would record it before I moved it and he didn't comment either way about recording a doe. I didn't know the one in the reg book doesn't have a place for does.

I think doe is only for game check if you choose to use it.

It is not required to record does on the harvest record.

I think that's what they intended but the Harvest record I cut out of Outdoor Alabama simply says:
Harvest record must be in possession when hunting.
Harvest record must be filled out before moving the animal.

There is a place for ANTLERED BUCK on the left side and UNANTLERED DEER on the right side and a place for TURKEY on the bottom.

It's all a mess to be honest.

No place for name or licence number = No way to enforce it

I printed the one out of the reg book and destroyed the one I had. The game warden didn't mention anything about needing a name or license number on the one I showed him. I now have my name and license number on the one in my wallet.

This one was supplied to the public by the state. I will NOT put my name and number on it. I never carry my license or wallet so they will just have to take my word for who I am. As I said, I'm not going to shoot a deer anyway. I was just trying to make it easy me but they need to make it easy on themselves also.
