Youth hunt for us in Miss this weekend. I'm thinking 9-2 and then 3-dark for us on Saturday.

I took the day off as well. I just haven't had much luck in the AM with a full moon. I think I'm going to hunt later in the morning and then go back in the afternoon and stay until dark. Would love to hear from some of the other folks on here what their plan is for tomorrow.

This will only be my 3rd trip out this season and can only hunt the morning bc I'm headed out of town after lunch. I have been kicking around the idea of just skipping though bc I'm exhausted but we'll see when the alarm goes off at 3. Good luck to you

I bet the deer move from daylight until around 2 pm the next couple days around food sources. I'd hunt the evening sits very close to bedding areas. The moon is out before it gets dark. Should see some bucks moving.

Not sure yet, still thinking on it. I'm heading to Greene County tomorrow. I know one thing, I'll be putting a can of Vienna's in the pack on my stand just in case wherever I set up turns into an all day sit. Those 5 Snicker mini's I had with me wouldn't much of a lunch today. grin

Go in around 9:00, set up close to bedding where there are acorns on the ground and stay until you kill a deer or get tired of waiting.

I'll be in my tree all day. I'll eat a good breakfast and just snack until dark.
I'll be using my Summit Titan.

I can't eat that early I'd be painting the woods brown.

I'm gonna go after I drop the kids off at school. Lunar activity charts say 9a-1p are major. Gotta be home by 4p to get kids so wife can go to Christmas Village and spend all my money.
